need help oil stain
Hello everyone... so quick story... my dog stepped in tranny fluid that had leaked out of a container.... then he tracked it in my mothers car... she was so happy after I just paid someone to do her car for her birthday.... now she's really upset .... any ideas how to get this out... or do I make the trip back to pro and let him attempt to tackle it...

Re: need help oil stain
For starters blot as much as you can with a paper towel. Brake Cleaner does a terrific job at dissolving oil, grease and the like. Spray the area then blot, spray only enough to dissolve the spot.
A solution of Dawn dish liquid and hot water may also work well and a bit less aggressive than the Brake Cleaner I mentioned above..Scrub with a sponge saturating the area and sucking the solution away with a shop vac. You may want to go the Brake Cleaner route followed by the Dawn solution then vacuum...
