    Trim Dye

I purchased a truck some time ago and it seems the previous only didn't take care of the car all together, but especially the gray trim. I've done some research on products, but nobody has wrote reviews on them. I am looking for some GRAY trim dye to get some of my trim back to looking new.

The products I've used are not dyes, but restoring agents. They didn't seem to hold at all.

    Any suggestions?

    Re: Trim Dye

I've used both showroom new trim dye and Forever Black trim dye with excellent results. Over 1 1/2yrs and still look exactly the same as day one. It is good practice to use trim dyes for neglected plastics and rubbers first before applying any type of trim "dressing" as they are only topical remedies.

Have you tried the Bondo/3m black dye kit from wally world?
I used it successfully to black out white lettering on some tires

I used showroom dye on my trans am. Worked really well and it's been 2 years and it looks as good as the day I did it. It comes in gray too

well there is the SEM trim dye with essentially as mentioned above is repainting the trim. Though I have yet to try it myself so many spesk the praise for UTTG for it restoritive qualities and durability. It does seem spendy, but it a bargin in comparison to pulling all the trim, prepping it and repainting it.

I've read up on the Showroom New Trim Dye and it seems to be the best option. Does AG Sell it?

    No they don't.

I've used it several times and it's great.
