Need advice on polishing
Hello guys, just need your inputs on what kind of polish should i use on my Azure Blue Nissan Altima. It has some fine scratches and i will be using a PC7424xp.
Please advice which product/combo to use,
M205/PO85RD or M205/PO106FA or PO106/PO85?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Need advice on polishing
Very hard to tell since all paint is different and your definition of "fine" may be different than mine.
I am guessing your pad selection is limited since you are asking so if that's the case and you don't have the option of starting with the least aggressive first, I would go with the M205/85RD.
Honestly though, P0106fa should take care of them by itself if they are really fine an clean up better than m205.

Re: Need advice on polishing
Some pics would help since as Troy notes, what you think are fine scratches and what I think they are isn't necessarily the same.
If you drag your fingernail over the scratches does it "catch"? If so, the scratches are too deep to be polished out. You'll need to touch-up the scratches or have someone do it for you.
If your fingernail doesn't catch, where are these scratches, what products and pads do you have and what do you expect when you're done? For fingernail marks around door handles I use Meg's UC by hand. For most other polishing I use Wolfgang TSR or Meg's UC on an LC orange pad followed by WG FG on a white or grey pad.
