Advice on removing fine scratches
Hey guys.
I have a new project in the works, its a 2010 A3 with a very decent paint job. Some swirls, but many scratch marks that run parallel on the roof and hood.Scratches arent deep though. I'm assuming these are from automatic car washes etc.
I tried 1z green, with LC orange, and it did absolute squat. It got oxidation out, cleaned the paint and swirls, and finished very nicely, but scratches still remain!!
Is it time for rubbing cmp, if so what do I use?
At my disposal I have, Meg's UC, M105, 3M Perfect-It ll Rubbing Compound Fine Cut, 3M Perfect-It 3000 Extra Cut Rubbing Compound , and Menzerna Power Finish PO 203. I know the latter 3m is rotary only so i guess thats out of the question?
All help is appreciated

i would try the m105. What polisher are you using? what pads do you have? remember, if your going to compound your going to have to follow that up with a polish. Ive seen people use power finish with great results as a one step!

I am not familiar with all your products but on my 2008 A6 M105/orange pad - yellow for persistent scratches
