Can you guys tell me what your dilution ratio's are for Megs APC & APC Plus, and what you would use the different ratio's on?

Re: Megs APC & APC Plus dilution ratio's

What are you looking to do?

I have a 7:1 bottle thats "safe" for paint (even 10:1 since I hear people having spots/tear drop issues with APC on paint), then I also have a 4:1 for the more heavy duty stuff.

I've heard people use it anywhere from 10~4:1 on interiors for leather and everything else.

I however switched to OPC before actually trying out APC+ so sorry that I don't have hands on experience.

    APC/APC+

APC+ is the better of the two for interior/extraction jobs on carpets, leather and upholstery as it is low foaming and has a more "friendly" scent.

Main uses: wheels, tires, engines, interior surfaces and upholstery, exterior trim...

    4:1 for heavy duty cleaning
    7:1 for medium duty cleaning
    10:1 for light duty cleaning

    Super Degreaser

    Main uses: tires, engines...

    4:1 for heavy duty degreasing
    7:1 for medium duty degreasing
    10:1 for light duty degreasing

    Glass Cleaner Concentrate

    Main uses: windows...

    10:1

Can APC be mixed in a car wash solution to strip old wax?

Like I said in my 1st post, I would be vary wary about using it. If you do some search on google some had it leave marks/tear drop paint runs. But I'm sure if you use it at a very very low concentration it would be okay (I have not tried it so don't take my word as gospel).

I think it's safe on paint with a dilution of 1:64 or 1:128. There are better products to strip away your LSP though such as Optimum Power Clean.

I see the ratio above at 10:1 and Maximus has his 1:64. I have often wondered with APC is the first number is water and the second is the cleaner? I use OPC at 3:1 with three parts water and 1 part OPC. What is the correct was to interpet dilution ratios? The first number water or is the forst number product?

No, for light duty it's 10:1. For paint it's either 64:1 or 128:1..I can't remember. Don't use it on paint unless it's extremely diluted. The 10:1 would be for interiors and such.

I mistyped last time. Every auto product I can think of has more water than product unless it's 1:1. I'm sure there are some though.
