At the bottom of my invoices, there is a message that says something along the lines of ". . . I have inspected my vehicle and determined that it is in satisfactory condition. . ." Once they sign the invoice I am free from providing a warranty service. However, if the customer is nice about an issue I usually do provide a warranty service at no charge (it's only happened twice).

I provide lifetime warranties on headlight resto's, and opti guard failure through my company. After one month I have the customer come in for a free wash to inspect my results, after that I hand them something similar to what's found on the optimum forums from Joel. His brochure covers every detail I could think of and I haven't experienced any issues. I only cover the coating failure not any damage caused to the paint. Even if I did, re applying opti guard wouldn't be an issue because I'm all about taking care of the customer. Now that I'm applying finest, it comes with a warranty also. I figure even if you have 1 out of say 20 return your still coming out ahead because I charge for the correction worked needed to apply the coatings. Out of all my customers I've had no failures on paint, on glass I tell them up front it's not going to be lifetime on that but I will apply it if they'd like.
