Question How to deal with window water spotting???

Finally finished my second detailing job - my wife's car. I thought it turned out great, but then I moved the car from the garage to the outside. Major water spotting on all windows.

    After polishing/waxing car pics:

Now take a look at the window spotting, typical for all windows:

I used Duragloss 755 New Glass to try and remove the spots - product I purchased last summer which worked to some success. After several trys by hand using a white foam pad, some was removed, but not all as the photo above attests to. Not real impressed with this product.

So, does anyone have suggestions as to what might really work on glass? And as anyone would, I really want something that goes on AND off easy. I was tempted to pull out my polisher and take a crack at it, but then was afraid of the possible consequences.

I believe I read a write up that suggested using M4 for the water etching on windows.

Many things can be used. Some people use Steel Wool (I have never tried it). I have used M105 with decent success, and the Diamondite Glass Polish and Zaino Glass Polish. IMO M105 does almost as well for a lower per unit price.

Once cleaned, seal that thing with some Aquapel!

Griots makes glass polishing pads for a da, and 2 types of glass polish and I'm sure they can be used by hand

For glass I normally start with a plastic razor to remove anything topical, then follow with powergloss on a heavy cut foam pad on my makita to remove any light etching that remains. Then 105 on my GG da with an orange pad to reassure myself that everything is cleaned up nicely. One wipe down with IPA then put some aquapel on so I don't have to polish the glass again in the future.

ive used Menzerna PO23 and M105 and they both worked well. try the Menz first (lesser cut). The M105 did not scuff the windows. ive tried claying, steel wool 0000 and other acidic cleaners but to no avail Elk

Since you have Duragloss 755 Nu Glass try using a 4" orange pad on a DA or drill. Does a much better job with a machine than by hand. BTW nice job on the wife's Honda.

The windows on my truck were just like that.
    M105 removed it totally.
Word of warning!!!! Use tape to cover all the rubber moldings.
