I dunno I like MF on those areas, but seem to remember at one time Griots offered cotton versions.

Griots sells terry cloth towels
So does Sears, J C Penny, Wal-Mart and Target

I get Martex brand from the gym I work out at, I've had good luck with Martha Stewart brand at K-mart.
They were $2.00 a piece but they've raised their prices and now they're $3.00 a piece...
I use them at the gym but also buy them for use to clean my pads on the fly...
How to clean your foam pad on the fly
I'll use terry cloth to wipe-off compounds, sometimes even polishes, depends upon the polish and how hard it's coming off and what the next step is and then switch to microfiber for the last steps...
Terrycloth tends to be a little more stout and the nap is stout too and this can help when trying to remove hard to wipe-off compounds and polishes.
As long as there's a follow-up polishing step after any terrycloth wiping steps, the follow-up polishing step will remove any toweling marks.
I have used some very soft cotton towels referred to as alpine microfiber, not sure if they're still available. I prefer to use microfiber for any final wiping.

I remember you mentioning that you got your Terry cloths from the gym in a video you posted a week or so ago. You then proceeded to say how simple cleaning you pad on the fly was and how hard people made it out to be
