i used d151 a couple days ago via rotary with ccs white pad and it left holograms. the white pad wasnt flat it was a older pad "clean" but the middle stuck out more. im just wondering why it left holograms with a white pad?

The paint may be relatively soft and/or the pad was not kept flat throughout the buffing cycle. Many variables can play into hologram creation.

    Re: d151

If it left holograms it is simply because it is too aggressive to finish down hologram free. Drop the pad to black and lower the speed.

D151 finishes down great on most paints, but it is not as light as a finishing polish for softer paints. D151 is similar in cut to M205.

Someone might be able to recommend a lighter AIO type product...
