anyone have experience in detailing motorcycles? more specific, crotch rockets? i got some one that has a gsxr 1000 that he got repainted black and the tail has bubbles in the paint how can i take this off? do bikes have a clear coat as well? if so, are they real sensitive and thin? how would you go about removing scratches?

Re: motorcycles
I've done a few crotch rockets. The paint is typically pretty thin and with all the plastic that is on there you have to be real careful to not burn through. It's easier to burn through paint that's on plastic. IME at least.
By bubbles do you mean something similar to orange peel? If so, you can probably wet sand it down and then buff it out. You will just need to be careful.

Re: motorcycles
You can start with 2500, but you may need something with more bite. I'd suggest maybe starting with 1500 and then moving up.
