    p21s paint cleaner

I ordered some of this a couple days ago to use on a relatively new vehicle (doesn't need a full polish yet). I was planning on washing, claying, , using the p21s cleanser to remove old sealant, then using menzerna po85rd, followed by black hole before sealing with wolfgang sealant.

Problem is, I read not to use a sealant after using p21s due to adherence issues. Would the po85rd negate that problem since its a finishing polish? A separate question would be if th po85rd would elminate the need for the p21s cleaner to begin with as it would remove any old sealant?

Finally, lets say I was just planning on washing, claying, using p21s, and sealing. Is the p21s a problem as it doesn't play nice with sealants? If so, what paintwork cleaner DOES work with sealants?

    Sorry for the compound questions.

I have never had a problem with the P21s Paint cleaner and adhesion properties. If anything it is a benefit! I have been using it for years with great results!

Thanks for the quick reply! And you have been putting a sealant on top of it, not just a wax?

Yes, actually both! More specifically, Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant, DP Poli-coat and Ultima PGP! All of these sealants lasted well for me when used with the P21s!

I've used P21S paint cleaner with great results as well, especially on soft single stage paints. Gives you a touch of correction so minor swirls and scratches are effectively removed.

Both Pinnacle and P21S paint cleansers were geared towards the carnauba waxes offered in their respective lines, but most have found they work equally well with sealants.

Thanks to everyone for the replies! I feel a lot better now that I'll have no problems. (Other than newb mistakes of course!)

Are you guys using the P21 on a Da or by hand? I have a bottle on the shelf that I have never used. Might be time for a test run.

I have used it both ways! I prefer with the DA but it works very well by hand also!
