That's your problem. Who in the world would put 7" pads in a pc kit. You'll find a huge difference with 5.5" pads. You may want to use your pc for correction work after using the 5.5" pads.

I have a GG i notice that if there isn't enough of the pad touching the the car the pad won't spin. For compound and waxing.

yep. too much pressure or not on a leveled flat surface will cause it to stop spinning.

I thought the same thing! I'll be buying some 5.5" pads for sure. Any recommendations?

I think another thing that stops spinning is gunked up pads

i have 5.5 LC on the way from AG. i did a correction on a ford excursion(my first one and it had to be on a tank lol) and i used the 6.5" pads thast came with the DA. i have to have it cranking on 6 in order to keep the pads turning.

i am glad i had some 4" pads, they came in handy. cant wait for my 5.5" pads to come in and then i will correct the paint on my G35!

How much pressure are you applying? Especially for just waxing/sealing you don't rly need any outside force on the machine. Even using a regular bathroom scale, you would be surprised how little physical effort it takes to apply too much force.

Mine was tough to keep spinning with 7" then went to 5.5 and it works great. I am really liking the thin Hydro Techs.

EDIT: Mine is the G110v2 but same problem I had.

That's exactly what I just bought. I got some 5.5 LC Hydro Techs...I'm pretty sure anyways, haha. Of course I had to throw in some other things!
