Help... maybe a little off topic

    Hey guys,
Long time, no talk! Anyways.... ony my driver side door panel (which is tan) there is a blue jean stain mark on the armrest (vertical ways). I have tried everything... including magic erasers, even thinner. Nothing, the blue dye is actually embedded into the paint of the door panel. Now, What could I do to fix this? I don;t like painting things, so could a dealership fix something like this or have somebody they hire do these kinds of things? I have looked everywhere on the internet, but unfortunatley, this seems to be a rare case! Please help!

    Thanks,
    Joey

What type of material is the door panel? Plastic? Leather? Cloth? You may need to replace that portion or the whole panel. Blue jean dye is hard to get out. If it's cloth I'd suggest taking a carpet extractor to it if you can. If it's plastic have you could try some 1Z deep plastic cleaner. Stuff works awesome!

It's probably going to need to be redyed. This is very common on lighter color interiors. Most dealerships that have a used car department should have someone they use for a job like this.

You can rub and scrub it all you want, but all it's going to do is remove the original color from the panel.

It is a vinyl... thanks Spicy and you are exactly right.... it will not come out unless the factory color is coming out with it. I will hunt for a dealership tomorrow. Thanks.
