Most missed spots?
You guys who do a lot of detailing... what spots do you see that are on the most missed list by others? Just wondering what areas I'll tend to miss and need to make sure I get to. Ideas, Wheel wells? Underseats that type of thing. Thanks, Dave

Re: Most missed spots?
Good question. What I've noticed on friends cars are door sills, wheel wells and behind the spokes on the wheels. Most only clean the outer surface of the wheel.

Undersides of door jams, tops of windows cuz they don't roll them down to clean em, around the edges of the middle of the door trim guards, inside the opening of the gas tank, of course around emblems, lower sides of the front and rear bumper, wheel wells properly cleaned, between the seats and the center console, move the seat all the way forward and backward when vacuuming, streaks on inside glass along with not boxing the windows, around air vents not dusted, use paint brushes or an air compressor to blow out interior cracks, underneath seats in mini vans, umm the list goes on depending on the vehicle lol

Re: Most missed spots?
Great input! Thanks guys. I'm making me a list of things to make sure I hit because every time I miss something I see it latter and it bugs me. This is just for personal vehicles but I'm kind of anal retentive about doing half a job. Now I have a great head start. Just wish our weather would cooperate with me now. OK it's 44 here and just started snowing heavy! I just can't win...&@$*@^%$

Re: Most missed spots?
One other area that is like the bottoms of the door jams, [underneath side facing ground] is the area above the headlights and center stage with hood open...even if the engine bay is not included, the area immediately underneath the lip is needed for detailing and product. Second area is underneath bottom lip of trunk lid, where when the lid is fully shut, the what"? 1/2" of area is not cleaned, or product applied. Personally I think the body rim around the trunk lid and the area below the rear windshield and the trunk closure space needs addressing...I also have made my list from the above posts...great help--thanks also.
