Dump Truck Quote tomorrow need help

Hey, i have started a detailing business recently. Doing mostly rv and trailers(camping trailers) and a few cars . But have a request to do quote on a dump truck to prep it for sale. Looks like it will be a 1 step or maybe oxidation removal step then a cleaner wax application (if it is gelcoat). If it is gelcoat i will probably price it like i do the RVs i have done in past and do it by the foot but it is a paint with or without clear i have much less experience on how to tackle it not to mention pricing if he wants aluminium tanks polished.

I am assuming what he wants is paint done as cheap as possible (probably an AIO) and then aluminium acid washed to give it the flat grey look which i have done lots on boat pontoons. But if he wants the aluminium polished what is normal to charge? is it by foot or by tank or by wheel? any help would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

It should take you about to full days.At the cheapest 600.00 with interior 750.00.Maybe sstage not gelcoat.Anything less depending on your hourly rate needed 250 a day if he complains about price.

Your probably gonna need 3 gallons of acid.16.00 a gallon here in south fla.So figure 3 gallons at 22.00 and factor that into the price.Good luck landing the job.

    Any update?
Western Star traditionally is an off-road truck.
Acquired by Freightliner a couple of decades ago.
    Could also be enamel.
