Plastic cleaner hurts mirrors?

For some reason suddenly, the sliding doors on the back of both sun visors, which open to reveal mirrors, are sticking, severely. I had a detail a month ago at an Audi dealer, if that may be a cause, but there doesn't appear to be any residue.

Any suggestions to alleviate this?

I thought I'd use some plastic cleaner first, like Einszett, to clean the door and see if it slides better. Will some cleaners damage the mirrors if it gets on them?

Plastic cleaner should not damage the mirrors

shouldnt ... I use Einszett Cockpit on my plastic visors with no issue. I dont like dressing, just clean and fresh.
