    1st attemp with rotory polisher

Decided to take a stab at correcting the paint on my tail of my Avalanche. As you can see it was a mess.

It's not perfect but not bad for a 1st attempt.

    Used

    Kawasaki 7" polisher
Various Detail King products (not going to walk to the garage to get the names)
Wave Edge pads yellow, green, and blue
    Adams Buttery Wax
    Various MF and applicators

Looks great man...a lot better than my first go at it. Keep learning and trying new things and you will become an expert in no time. btw the avalanche has soft door edges so make sure to tape well when using the rotary.

Nope that was my first go at it.

I did tape everything up really well. Tape doesn't stick to the plastic too well since I had just detailed the truck Friday night it had some trim dressing on them which made it even harder to have the tape stick.

Thanks for the advice on the door edges, I was planning on taping them up when I do the rest of the truck, but good to know about the eges.
