fk1000p as lsp.
soi just used fk1000p and i can't believe the resukts. beautiful deep wet look in the shade, and in the sun it sure makes the metallic pop/glow in my silver metallic paint.
question is, is fk1000p fine by itself? it is a paste based sealant from what i gathered. and anybody who has used this in the past, how great is durability? ie: sitting out in the sun and driven as a dd?
thanks in advance.

From what I have read FK1000P has great durability (close to 6 months).

it is a great offering and a hidden gem, so many great products and you found one indeed. Using Fk425 with it is a nice combo too.

How ironic! I just received FK1000P and plan on using it on my metallic silver tomorrow. FK1000P was recommended to me by a couple "wax experts". They said it looks great on light metallics. FK1000P is advertised as being able to withstand temperatures of 250 degrees. Durability is supposed to be awesome!

you will absolutely love the fk1000p. i am a wax freak and love dipping into different waxes. max wax is also awesome but i really think fk1000p is a step up. i also love sigII but fk1000p might have the edge.
i really couldn't believe the gloss and to have the glow too just blew my mind. kind of hard to apply. try using a m/f applicator, it seems to spread it evenly and consistent.
oh btw, if your still up for the trade we talked about, i am also. just been a little busy.
killr, you are absolutely right about being a hidden gem.

1000P truely is a hidden gem. I've been recommending it for a while now but it is still overlooked. Sure it doesn't smell fruity like the other waxes and doesn't look "pretty" but thats not the type of wax it is. Its a no frills wax that just looks great, performs great, and is extremely durable. Incredibility easy to use and remove. It also, as you have noticed, imparts a very glossy look like another layer of clear was added.
