No slickness=Protection is gone?
So, I have used both Duragloss #105 and Blue Coral's Revive-It on my Saturn.
Within a week, both products lost their slickness. However, during a routine car wash, the majority of the beading was still present.
Does this mean there's still protection, despite the lack of slickness?

No the LSP is still there. Slickness is not an indicator of protection. The slickness comes from the silicone polymers and oils in the LSP, and once applied to the paint and exposed to the environment they start to evaporate. That is why they feel so slick after an application.
