To all the website geniuses! Need help picking a good host!

Hey guys, I'm in the process of building my website using iWeb and trying to figure this anchor thing out, once it's done I'm gonna get it up there.

So I know most people use Go Daddy here. I've rounded up buying the Economy Package, a domain name and the Search Engine Visibility option so I can get myself up to the top of Google searches - about $7 a month?

Not sure if that's a good price, but it seems like the Economy package is their cheapest and it comes with 10 emails, 10GB of space. My website is like 6MB -_-"

I have heard good things about Inmotion hosting, iPage, JustHost.

    What do you guys think?

Squarespace is pretty good as well.

    For in-expensive web-hosting, I use DayanaHost.com

You can get a full-featured hosting plan for $9.99 a year. I've hosted small sites with them for probably going on 10 years with great service the entire time.

Check out their Say5 hosting plan...

Pretty hard to beat these features for this price...

If you purchase your domain name through Domain Name Search the transaction goes through GoDaddy and it cost you about $8.00 because they apply a discount.

This means you can host a website for approximately $20.00 a year. If all you want to do is create a small website then this is a pretty good way to go.

In addition to price, you need to consider up time and customer support. I had used 1and1 because they had rock solid availability and good performance.
