Even though Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant isn't in your mid-range, it is a sealant very difficult to beat for black. Its my go-to sealant for black paints.

Will have to throw 4 Star into this. I loved the look on my black Speed 3. When I sold the car in November, the sealant had been on since mid-August and was still beading like new. (would post photos, but havent transfer photos to new computer yet.)

If Wolfgang is out of your price range, I'd give 3M Performance Finish a good hard look. It looks decent, and is extremely durable and easy to use.

My winning combo for my black 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse (original paint) is WDGPS 3.0 + 845IW, the look is so wet and warm, I love that combo and is really durable . After 24hrs-48hrs I top it with FK425

My second choice is Duragloss 601+105
