Anyone used LC Flat and Hydro-Tech cutting pads??

Does the cyan (blue) Hydro Tech have noticeably more cutting power than the LC FLAT orange, or vice versa?

I love my tangerine and my cyan pads.
The cyan pads have a good bite, and finish great.
The tangerine like the cyan stays pretty firm and also has some good cutting for minor swirls.
I found both pads to achieve any desired results depending upon the compound/polish you use.
These pads have become my favorite pads. That's all I use for my Flex. I love them!

I will be using Griots ROP with 105 w/ cyan hydro pad, then finishing w/ 205 and CCS white pad on my z06.

Using the Cyan pad with Menz PowerFinish is AMAZING!!! But I used a Makita.

Just know using a RO on your Vette clear coat is going to take a lot of time and patience.

That's what I'm concerned about. The new Griot's DA is pretty powerful though, so we'll see.

With 105 using a Griot should not take much...even on a Vette.

Yes the cc on your vette is very hard. But using 105/205 you'll be fine with the da. Yes it's not going to be as fast as a rotaray, but you'll get nice results pretty quick. Just remember to work a small section at a time approximately 18"x18". May want to consider finishing up with Menz 85rd on a blue LC CCS pad to take the finish to the next level.

I just found this, and this is with the less powerful PC7424XP.

Will the Flex make matters any better compared to the Griot's 6"?
