    Removing adhesive residue from dash

Had a navigation unit on the dash that had velcro strips on it. Now that the unit has been removed there is a square patch of residue.
Any ideas on how to remove it? I tried mild soap and water as well as goo remover and its still there. I've read many of the posts (via search) on removing adhesives but it seems to be geared for the exterior.

Goo Gone or Goof-Off applied gently with some terry cloth. The nap of the terry cloth will give your some gentle scrubbing power.

I had the same thing happen on one of my cars, I think I ended up using a plastic scrapper and lots of time.

That is how I got the 95 percent off. As for the remainder, I'll give the "goo" suggestion a try or I may buy Steven C's recommendation if all else fails.
