Pinnacle leather cleaner and Wolfgang leather conditioner??

I noticed Pinnacle leather cleaner and Wolfgang leather conditioner both in the current BOGO. I was thinking of getting both. Can anyone provide feedback as to your experience with either product; and would it be okay to use them in conjuction with each other.

Re: Pinnacle leather cleaner and Wolfgang leather conditioner??

I would like to know if WG/Pinn is water based or oil based?
I can tell you I tried Pinn leather conditioner on my leather seats and really didn't see a big difference in my leather. Tried Leather Masters based on Supercharged recommendation and it did make a difference. More natural and pliable.
Four Stars leather conditioner is water based according to the owner of 4*.

What is better water based or oil based?; and is that for the cleaner or the conditioner?

The website description says that the Pinn leather cleaner is water based and the WG leather conditioner is lanolin oil based, both with a pH of 7 (neutral). Is this good?

From my research coated leather needs a water based conditioner/re-hydration. You have coated leather (says so in owners manual too). Yeah neutral is always good.
Optimum and Poorboys leather conditioner is water based as well and both clean and condition (AIO).

I LOVE the WG leather conditioner. It has a great smell to it it really leaves the leather feeling amazing. I would highly recommend it and I am currently adding it to my basket, I didn't know it was on BOGO. THANKS!

What about it being lanolin oil based?
Isn't the water based supposed to be what we should use?

I'm starting wonder how many conditioners are actually oil based. I had emailed Rick Vaal owner of 4* about his conditioner and he stated that it is actually water based despite the product info saying it's lanolin based (percentage of oils is very small). I'm starting to think most conditioners are water based with a little lanolin/mink/other oil in the mix but advertise the oil more due to most people perception that oil is good.

Great answer!!! I think I will try the WG and The Pinn. I can't imagine going wrong with either of those two brands for anything; and the BOGO is a great bonus!!! oorahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are following the same trail.

Just because a product has some oil in it, it does not mean it is oil based. From my investigations, oil based really applies to the older leather products that used oil and active solvents to rejuvenate uncoated leather. I think the oil based talk is more marketing talk about bad mouthing products since few mark "water based" on leather conditioner bottles marketed for automotive use. You notice those that promote water based tend to hint about certain products and not acknowledge there are many water based leather conditioners out there.

Some seem slippery than others but it does not mean oil is causing it. Protectants are water based but can add substantial slickness without "oils".

I have been using 4 Star but picked up some PB's Leather stuff...interestingly, the PB leaves my coated seats more slippery....
