    Wax removal from plastic ........?

I was hoping to find Griot's Dried On Wax Remover on site but didn't, is there a 2nd alternative that works well? I just don't want to ruin the plastic as so many products will dull it forever.

303 Protectant works great for me!!!! and its not greasy like most other products and it gives the plastic its natural color back!

Of course, you can always cover up the plastic pieces with 3m Green Low Adhesive tap!!!

I have to agree, 303 Aerospace is great for exterior trim.

BlackWow is supposed to be an excellent product that lasts for months. Very expensive, $25 for a 4oz bottle, but again it's supposed to be the most durable trim restorer short of re-spraying the trim.

Indeed!!!!!!, I had never used 303 until about 2 months ago when a next door neighbor(who i had no clue was a detail fanatic!) bought me a sample to try because had seen me working on my car on numerous occasions.

I used the 303 right below the windshield where the wipers sit and i was blown away!!!! It also has SPF in it doesnt it!??!!! like 40spf!!!! my interior is black so i could really tell just by the touch of how much better it keeps off the heat!!

Exterior wise, you can use it also on the rubber seals that may have been dulled by the wax/ polish! It does a very nice job there too

Peanut butter works excellent for this also.... I've tried many products and peanut butter is the ticket.

Use some APC and a toothbrush. The old wax will come off.
After removing the old wax, that's the time to put a protectant on it.
