    Spray-on Truck bed coating cleaning

I just came across something a few of you might be interested in.

Last week I was cleaning my tires with Westley's Bleche-Wite. I layed the spray bottel down in my truck bed for a moment while I brushed the tire. when I came back to it the bottel tiped over and some of the liquid spilled out of the top and ran down the spray on liner that had pollen and brick dust ground into it.
I looked down at the spilled liquid and it looked like dirt had solidified and started to run dowm the bed. so I grabed a brush and went to work on that area.
it came out looking good after a rinse off.
this weekend I did the whole bed with Bleche-Wite and it looks like new again.

Tomarrow I think I'm going to hit it with Meg #40 and see what happens.

Very interesting. Bleach-white is strong stuff, I would be scared that it would remove the truck bed coating.

You are right it is very strong stuff. I was reading the instrutions to prep a Herculiner treated bed before putting their protectant on it. and they said to use TSP (Tri-Sodium-Phosphate). That is strong stuff too. They did warn that to bed coating needed to be "fully" cured. and bed liner is 7 years old.
If you would like I can post an after photo. wish I took a before shot.
Just imagin a black bed liner coated with years of green tree pollen, and red brick dust ground into it.

Why not? Let's take a look at the photo. It's worth knowing that Bleach-White can thoroughly clean up bed liner.

ok I will do that. I took a couple of shots tonight, but the light is fading fast here so they didn't not turn out too good. I'll try again tomarrow right after I get off work.

Here are a couple of shots of the bed.
Remember this bed was sprayed when I bought the truck new in June 2002.
It sits outside 24/7, 365 days a year. I have used it to haul dirt and make dump runs.
