    Question Wheel wells and Tires

I've been looking through the site for a good brush that I can use for cleaning my wheel wells with. One with a long reach so that I can get to the back of the well. And what would be a good dressing after they are clean?

Also, what would you all recommend for removing gel type tire dressing? All the ones I've looked at say that they work on brake dust and dirt, but none mention gel dressing or any kind of tire dressing.

    Thanks all.

    Re: Wheel wells and Tires

Amazing Roll Off seems to be the consensus for removing old tire dressings.

I've used Adams Undercarriage Spray to dress my wheel wells after I'm done, but AG doesn't carry it. They do however carry Griots Garage offering, and from what I've heard it's really good. And I'd like to try it out soon.

As for a brush I have a good stiff long handle brush I got at Target back in the automotive section for it. Didn't see a need for a expensive brush for the plastic that's already hosed under in my wells.

I spray with Optimum PowerClean then brush as possible. Spray with Griots Undercarriage Spray for dressing. I wish we had that Griots Spray Wand and suggested it this week.

Brushes don't work well for most wheel wells, as the surface is uneven. Is the Griots Spray Wand like a pressure washer? +1 on ARO to clean wells and tires.

    Re: Wheel wells and Tires

I have two brushes that hit the wheels and the wheel wells with....

    Tire & Wheel Brushes

    Daytona Speed Master Wheel Brush

You have to use what works for you, but when cleaning the wheels and surround areas that is what I always use.

    Re: Wheel wells and Tires

A while back BiglLots had the long handle brushes for Meg's real cheap. As far as undercarriage sprays. I have used 2, BareBones by ChemicalGuys, and Adams. They both smell real nice. I only spray them on no wiping. I think the Adams works better,it doesn't seem to attract as much dirt and dust. Also it repels both IMO!
