    Is Leatherique overkill?

I am wanting to clean the light tan leather in my 2008 Mercedes C350 Sak's Edition. It is merely dirty from a year or so of natural body oils and general dirt accumulation. I was thinking about getting the Leatherique kit for a really thorough deep cleaning and conditioning. However, I am wondering if that is overkill for leather that is not stained but just dirty. If so, what are your recommendations for an economical yet good quality leather cleaner and conditioner? Would Wolfgang, DP or another brand do the job? I would rather purchase the correct product the first time and not have to try multiple brands. Thanks!

Overkill nah, probably a bit more than needed, but leatherique on an annual basis (the kit) is likely a good idea and does not seem to hurt in my past uses.

I use Einszett on a monthly basis, probably more than needed on coated leather also, but hey its my choice !

I would say its not necessary on coated leathers.

Agree 100%. Coated leathers aren't going to benefit from leatherique the way non coated leather will even in poor condition.

Not saying it won't clean up the situation here, but from the sounds of it, pick one of many leather clean/condition duo's out there. Any leather kit found on AG would do the trick.
