    Portable vacuums

    The Metro Vac n Blow - $189.99

or this from Harbor Freight - $64.99

They look pretty close to me, maybe I'm missing something.

its a knock off like most items sold in Harbor Freight ... you wont likely see the same power, warranty, nor build quality. Sometimes you get what you pay for so tread lightly.

    Re: Portable vacuums

Just a little off-topic, but still about a portable vacuum.
Ridgid has a wet/dry vac that is basically self contained in a toolbox configuration.

I have had one for several years and the portability is great and it has lots of power. The one drawback to it is the 1-7/8" hose and attachments. Everything works fine, but you are limited to buying their attachments since 1-7/8" is not a real common size.
I paid about $100 for mine.

I also have the Metro Vac-N-Blo and it is also very handy, but it is not a wet/dry vac. It is for dry pickup only.

I've yet to see a Kia that looks like a Mercedes. But then again, a Kia does get you where you want to go.

    Re: Portable vacuums

i know someone who has messed with the harbor freight vacs and he says to avoid it... they are hit or miss, his worked and then just quit... his replacement never quit, but never worked that well...

and yes, the new kia's and hyundai's can replicate the looks of other cars, but they havent been in the game long enough to replace those other cars... frankly, their advertising pisses me off, as they pick and choose base models to beat stats of, but as a whole, the car cant touch anything as a total package...
