Tried Something new today--and it worked

Love keeping the car clean and am especially anal about the windshield. Gotta be crystal clear.

But for some reason my windshield gets little aggravating nicks from road debris and its tough keeping them clean of dirt. Usually use something like DG 501 and white or orange pad but the polish tends to accumulate in the glass nicks.

On a whim, sprayed AW (my favorite window "dressing") on a white polishing pad. Scrubbed the window and voila! Very clean windshield and no residue from polish left in the little glass nicks. Glass is nice and slick too.

Try it. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Thanks for the tip. I will try it. Did you put it on by hand or machine with the white pad?

Used AW on my windows for years, but never applied by pc. Might give it a try with a 4" pad.

Does AW stand for aquawax? If so I have some and will give it a try.

AW rocks on glass, especially when it rains.

most spraywaxes and detailing sprays can be used on glass to offer some basic beading. If you want to clean the glass completely first look to something with cleaning power like Klasse AIO or SprayClay from Diamonite.
