best wax for a detail shop

I like Wolfgang DGPS 3.0 and I've used Collonite 845 in the past with great results. A lot has to do with if the car is garaged or not as far durability goes.

For shop use, Meguiar's #26 is one of the best. Easy on, will not dry white on trim, and produces a great looking finish.

I go through gallons of the stuff...very inexpensive and good value.

From my personal daily drivers, I have 4* UPP topped with liquid souveran and I get water beading up to 6 months after a full exterior detail. I threw it on my mothers car after a car wash (never been polished) and it only seemed to last a few weeks... it is all about the prep.

4 Star UPP is my personal fav even when used alone. They offer a spray polish (final polish) to prep surface for their sealant. Now back to the original post .....

If you are looking for longevity I would move away from waxes and look at sealants or blends.
