Flex XC3401 & Wolfgang 3.0 Trio

New member, but long time reader of the forums.
I recently purchased the flex xc3401 wolfgang kit w/ the LC pads a few weeks ago.
I own a black Mercedes 07 Gl450 & white 97 BMW M3. Did the bimmer last weekend and the merc this past weekend. All I can say are wow. The wolfgang flex combo gave me stunning results. I did the whole routine on both vehicles.(Two bucket wash, clay, tsr, glaze, & sealant) It took me 10 hours on the bimmer and 16 hrs on the huge merc.

I was able to get the 11 yr old paint on the bimmer to look new. The merc on the other hand I wasn't 100 % satisfied with the amount of swirls still left after the polishing with the orange lc pad and wolfgang tsr. Don't get me wrong the vehicle looks stunning and I'm a bit of a perfectionist. The black ceraclear on Mercedes is extremely hard.
So my question for all you pros is should I do something different next time I detail? Something a bit more agressive than wolfgang tsr? yellow lc pad? wool pad? ? Any recommendations would be apprecaited.

Look at Menzerna polishes. There line is designed for hard benz clearcoats.
Menzerna polishes for ceramic clear coat paint, Flex buffer, Nano polish, super intensive, Lake Country pads, Show car kit

I thought that the wolfgang was comparable to the Menzerna because they also make wolfgang. So what your saying is that the wolfgang won't do much to the ceramiclear on the benz?

menzerna PO106FF will do the job.

I can't really speak to the effectiveness of wolfgang, but I have Flex/Menz and it worked very well on my Porsche. And, the very description of the SIP and Nano speaks to hard benz finishes.

I've used Nano and SIP on a 07 GL450 and it works great. This was even using a UDM and not the more powerful Flex that you have, so Nano should work just fine for you unless your swirls/scratches were very deep.

Thanks for all the help. I will def. try the Menzerna Nano & SIP next time around. The swirls are not even noticable unless I put a halogen lamp on the paint. Anyone with experience on both Wolfgang and Menzerna products please chime in.

I thought I read the the wolfgang TSR is a cross between the Menzerna 106FA and IP. So if you need to go aggressive, you need a aggressive pad(orange/yellow). Then to polish like 106FA you would need a grey/blue pad. That is what someone said. I may be wrong.

I don't have the SIP killrwheels. I did the car with wolfgang. I did the hood with tsr twice but it didn't create a noticable difference.
Thanks for all the help. I will try the Menzerna 106FA next detail.
So 106FA -orange pad, wolgang glaze -white pad & wolfgang sealant -blue pad? Trying to use up the products I already have and not have to go crazy.
