Best Mitt, Sponge etc for ONR use?? Optimum No-Rinse
I bought a sheepskin mitt on my 1st order with Autogeek and I have used it no more than 6 times. It is already falling apart. All washes have been ONR'd, (2 caps/2 gallons). Currently they have the B1G1F on "The Bone" and the "Micro-Chenille Scrubber Sponge". I was considering buying the Chenille Sponge. Are these good options for the ONR washes. Looking for something that is durable and cost effective. Or are there any other preferred mitts, sponges etc. that can be recommended. OTC is OK also. I also have the Pinnacle Body Works Shampoo but I haven't use it as of this date since I live in apts. I am going to order some SSII while it is on sale!
Thanks!

I use ONR as my car wash quite a bit and use a microfiber wash pad (I got a couple from Griot's) and/or a chenille wash pad or mitt. Some like the grout sponge.

Have read on here, some people having trouble with the sheepskin. I have had mine going on 2 summers now, and no problems. Have the bone, but have not used it with ONR. Works great with regular car wash.

i'm surprised at the speed at which your sheepskin mitts are falling apart! i've used mine for at least 10 washes and its still holding up well. its the 1 from AG that has the sheepskin on 1 side and the scrubber on the other.

Just thought I'd add, that the MF wash pad I use is the kind with the long, somewhat thick fibers (2-3" long). It holds a lot of solution and seems to be holding up fine. Rinses out easily too. The cotton chenilles I have are Meguiar's and have been used about 15 times.

Re: Best Mitt, Sponge etc for ONR use?? Optimum No-Rinse
Purchased 2 all natural sheepskin mitts from Advance Auto Parts. . . have washed my car every weekend for almost 3 months and they are both still perfect. They were only 8 bucks or so.
I rinse them out and hang them up after every wash.
Not to thread jack - but also on this idea - I am considering purchasing The Bone. Is it quality? As good as sheepskin? Please post your reviews from using it please so that the OP and I can decide whether it is a good purchase or not? Thanks!

Sheepskins are the best but can be hit or miss. Some can fall apart after a wash or two, but I have one or two mitts that we sell from about 5 months ago and they're still holding up fine after weekly washes.

i'll add my experience with the sheepskins....
first i think they're awesome, when I was reading the description etc.. that AG offers about them I read they're not to be used in the washing machine, only rinsed out and air dried. well I did this for the first..4 uses with my sheepskin mitt and kinda forgot it wasn't supposed to go in the washer. well now it's a nice fluff ball, not as soft as before, granted it's not falling apart on me but it will not be used on my trans am no more, just the jeep. I'm not bashing the sheepskin at all, as it was my fault it lost its soft plushness to it
edit- matt, do u have any larger sized pics of that beautiful corvette in ur avatar??

In answer to your question the ShMitt was a huge hit a while back.
The ShMitt or UltiMitt are both good.
