Deatailing a turboprop aircraft
My boss looked at my detailed truck and wondered if I could do that to our planes so here are my questions:
The jet A that we burn leaves a nasty black film on the plane I used some DG 652 and a orange pad it came right off so that solves that problem.
I currently use Menz on my cars but I really dont want to use the 3 step process on a plane this big It has some minor oxidation on some areas espically on the sides and the areas where that black film was on in part to the harsh cleaner that they used to clean the film off.
So here is my big question what would you recommend to to remove the oxidation and then what would you use to polish the plane? They sell a product in aviation mags that has a teflon base but it is $100 for a quart.
Thanks for the help
Mike
