Fabric Guard - Plus??
I use 303 High Tech Fabric Guardon my Eclipse top and it works great. The water beads up and rolls off with no problem (unless it's a normal S Fl downpour, that's a test for any water repellent).
My question is- Do they make any with a cat repellent in it? (yes, you read it right.)
There are some feral cats where I work and they just love laying on my roof while I'm inside working. Getting the fur out of the fabric is a real pain in the @#$. Been using duct tape to get out what I can, but then the next day, they're back on it again.
So if anyone out there in AutoGeek land knows how to keep them off, I'd like to hear it

take a small plastic bowl, add in a couple moth balls, allow it to sit on top a couple days. Cats hate it, you can actually bury them in gardens to stop the poopie and damage too.

Interesting, I didn't know about moth balls and cats. Learn something new every day (at least if you're lucky)...

Re: Fabric Guard - Plus??
I was cleaning out my snowblower and the cat came over and started to drink the 2 cycle gas mix that I had siphoned into a bowl, before I could stop it. Well the cat took off and started to run around the car in the driveway again and again..it was going nuts. I was getting worried that something was affecting its brain, but finally it just stopped and then fell over. I ran over thinking it had died..but luckily not....it had just run out of gas!
Or, there's this way to deal with a cat:

Thanks for the info - sounds better than 2 cycle gas.
