The reason a professional detailer likes an Absorber/chamois type towel isn’t because it dries superior to a microfiber, it’s because it’s instantly reusable over and over again…

That’s not necessarily possible with the typical great microfiber drying towels because you’ll wind up with a pile of wet heavy towels and likely little space to put them.

With a “chamois” type towel you can literally dry 15 cars back to back with the same towel.

The thought of that makes me queasy. I could never be a high volume detailer as a result

    Re: Zap Cloth

Has anyone ever used Zap Cloth with glass cleaner or rinseless wash?

I’ve always wondered how it would do with something besides plain water but I don’t want to ruin it even though it probably wouldn’t since you can simply wash it.

15 cars back to back would take place in an office building parking lot. Maintenance washes on swirled up vehicles. No harm no foul. Soccer moms and average Joes who simply want their daily drivers washed real quick.

How do you like it using it as directed? Do you use it much?

I don’t use them nearly as much as I should. Stubborn mentality in me.

So far this year with detailing,I've been not so much stubborn as I have been lazy. I have some tasks I have to do especially concerning the Caddy.

Been using one for years. The only thing I have found to get spotless glass without the use of glass cleaners. Just dampen with warm water and you are good to go.
