Zap Cloth
I didn't want to threadjack another thread where Bill D and Eldorado 2K were discussing the Zap Cloth. Bill said:

I went to the website and this just seems to be a suede microfiber cloth? Am I missing something? Discuss.

Re: Zap Cloth
It seems to me to be a suedeish.paperish cloth. It is a unique material
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.

Re: Zap Cloth
I was curious to. I buy the Absorber in bulk since there by far the safest and easiest Chamois I've ever used. I don't use them on finished corrections and is when I use the big guns. But the chamois get tons of use.

Zap's are stiff when new, they soften up with use!

DDP. Please don't read this the wrong way but it's 2024......tons of products out there that trump a Chamois.....

You realize Dana is a pro detailer and he's not working on well maintained cars? That's why he doesn't care about Tornador overspray, or using a chamois.

Re: Zap Cloth
Don't poke the bear ----> I don't know sch1tz from a supplier level but there has to be better, equivalent price options from a wholesale, shop level on mf towels that rival a chamois.....
And re: overspray.....I'm still in the camp I prefer suck vs blow...

Re: Zap Cloth
I don't use a Tornador, but I can see on some of these miserable interiors that you would be wiping down the whole interior anyway, so whipping a tornado through the interior of overspray doesn't seem like a problem if you're blasting out gunky cupholders. I dunno. I don't know what to say about the chamois...maybe Dana has a ton of them from years ago. I still have new MF's from when I joined Autopia in 2004...now that I'm thinking about it somewhere I have an unopened pack of 20 of those Meguiar's edgeless towels back when they used to sell them...I wonder where those got to?
Anyway, let's get back to Zap Cloths--who else has used them?
