Re: What do you do to make your Wheel Cleaning Easier
Gotta love vogue tires, I’ve even seen them on Rolls Royces
One vehicle I’m highly I’m highly impressed with in terms of practically no dusting is the late model Jeep Grand Cherokee. I can get away with not washing its wheels for a long time.

That video was the very 1st dude who ever showed that method. These days anyone and everyone who has Vogues or is looking to buy some knows about Shout.

Their barrel blade is my go to tool. I don't grab any others these days.
Mainly as I usually run large wheels and the blade get's into 11.5 with ease
I like the MF material
It DOES get a bit of getting used to as due to design, you don't have the ability to clean at a sharper angle through a spoke like you would with a smaller diameter shaft/rod
My winter wheels usually has this terrible recess pocket in it's design - mainly to shave weight and add strength to the wheel.
Usually this -pocket- is laded with dirt/mud at the end of the season.
Between milder winters, haven't skipped a beat - weekly washes, I was surprised that when I took off the winters.....there was no dirt in this -recess- this season.

Use a speed master creeper to get right height. A clean garage mint wheel mitt, small wheel woolie and WorkStuff albino detail brush for faces. Speedmaster, wheel woolies and EZ detail for barrels.
I use to be a scary berry about the speedmaster/EZ detail brushes but there all good. No scratches on matte black or silver wheels and been using for year and a half. I trust enough that I would try on gloss black wheels

To that point, I've been using the SpeedMaster/Ez brushes long enough to have worn out two of them and I'm now on my third without any issues.
I'm not sure how I'd handle gloss black wheels other than selling them and replacing them with something else with a finish that's easier to live with. Wheels take a lot of abuse from daily life and are in a pretty harsh environment. That just seems to be a really bad place to have a shiny, solid black surface that's easy to scratch.

Meguiar’s Ultimate All Wheel Cleaner and a decent turbo nozzle will usually get ya 90+% of the way there. For the rest, chucking the right detailing brush into a 1/2” cordless drill makes it go quicker.

I agree and what the road will throw at them a lot tougher than some flag tipped bristles.
