A Tale of Two Cars
I thought that this was an interesting development. I came out of the store to find a Civic parked beside me. Both cars are the same color and both were bought at the same dealership. It just goes to show the difference proper maintenance makes.

What are the odds of that? A detailed car always puts a “regular” car to shame

Wow, the well-maintained one looks so much better it doesn't even look like the same year car!

It is almost never that I see another meticulously detailed car in the real world, not even the rare exotic or high dollar cars I see look that good. It kinda saddens me that there are so few folks out there who keep their cars really nice. If these forums didn’t exist I’d believe I’m only one of like ten people in the entire state who do so.
Keep that car shining!

There's an Autobell right down the street from my gym. It never ceases to amaze me at the sheer number of expensive cars I see going through those automotive tunnels of death or people that really think the free wash at the dealership is a nice perk.

Re: A Tale of Two Cars
They just opened another car wash near me. I’m horrified. For so many people, a vehicle is the second most expensive thing they own or are paying payments on next to a home yet they beat them up and let the car wash or the dealer scratch them all up. I don’t understand it. I think I was brought up differently from most people today when it comes to taking care of your stuff.

The owner of this vehicle is a rarity. I detailed it last year since the owner is now too old to care for it on his own anymore but it's a 2006 Tundra with the factory paint that is still in great condition. Unfortunately the only pic of it I still have is the ridiculously compressed image from my google profile but you can still see the luster and what a vehicle looks like when the owner gives a damn.

Just beautiful! Now, regularly washing will reasonable preserve the look. I think when I get really old I’ll still be able to QD and waterless wash until my hands and fingers fail.

I don’t think those are same year or same colors…. Similar colors…. Yes. Honda doesn’t use same paints on Civics as they do Accords.
Love the color on the accord. Shimmers.
