Do you use quick connects? I’ve heard certain quick connects can restrict water pressure. That’s why the Eley quick connects are huge.

Could be but I'm getting tons of water. More than I need. Also I almost bought the Eley. They seem to only be in the Hose buz and have top quality! I saw this on the hose reel and went for the Bluebird.

Verdict is in. 10.1 gpm with QD no nozzle. Inexpensive nozzle that came with the reel 1.7 gpm and my new heavy nozzle climbed to 5.7gpm. All tested with new reel.

That is pretty damn good flow and seems like it is well built. Makes the orbit pro series seem like a great bang for your buck nozzle as far as flow is concerned. Thanks for sharing.

Last 2 cars Iv'e done and I did them all with just the hose and nozzle. I sprayed down with my IK and BH then rinsed off and used drying aid. They were just easy maintenance washes. I used just over 5 gallons. I really feel it's going to be a game changer for me. So easy!

So is what you’re describing here coming out of your blue hose reel a garden hose setup with the Regency nozzle? If so, what ID hose did you get and how long?

Yes. I went with the 3/4 50 foot. Just finished my third car with it and haven't used my Active since. I'll defiantly use it on big jobs still.
