    EGO 580 BLOWER

    Amazon.com : EGO Power+ LB5804 580 CFM 56-Volt Lithium-ion Cordless Leaf Blower 5.0Ah Battery & Charger Included : Sports & Outdoors

Read some reviews that this is excellent for drying vehicles. Pair it up with the stubby nozzle they offer and your good to go. Any feedback on the unit?

This is what I used for drying my car until recently and it will get the job done with ease on a car with decent protection. I wouldn’t go for this deal though. I upgraded to the 650 around Christmas for $250 with the same battery so it’s probably better to hold out for maybe an Easter sale or just get the 650 now since it’s only $7 more if you can’t wait.

I took a look at the EGO not so long ago. The problem for me is all the extra weight associated with that format battery compared to the 20V DeWalt blower .. I don't use them for vehicles daily, but in the fall have to climb the roof to clear eaves of leaves so I need something light and nimble. The EGO stuff isn't either

I tried the model 670 (they all appear to be approximately the same sized/weight) and the 4 amp battery only ran 14 minutes without even using the Turbo.

The 765 has been as low as $270. May have to wait for a Prime day or Black Friday sale for that price tho.

Amazon had it on sale for $260 last year during their July Black Friday sale or whatever it was. I had it in my cart and forgot about it. The next day when i went to buy it was back to regular price. You snooze you lose.

If you’re looking for an ego blower my advice would be to wait at least until a major holiday and see what deals they have. Those Ego blowers get heavy discounts quite frequently.

Yeah even if you have to spend $40 extra, from what I’ve seen… worth it.

I have only used the 765 and love it.

I would skip the 615 and 650 and just go straight to the 765, which is the most powerful hand held leaf blower on the market, be that gas or battery powered. I've been using the 765 with a stubby nozzle for a while now and its the one to go for.

I would also rule out the 530, I bought one for my dad to clean around the house and its terrible. Although the speed can be dialed up or down, but the trigger itself is not variable so its on or its off. And it has the most annoying lag between squeezing the throttle and it actually turning on. It's also too weak unless you have the turbo button held down.

EGO now sell their own stubby nozzle, which is better than the 3D printed versions in having a release tab.
