Witing them now. Especially since we even documented the video applying it with Mike G. 8 months ago.

Reset is my top tier shampoo . While PH Neutral, and it's lubricious and cleans well...it's strong stuff. Maybe too strong as a maintenance wash for DIY coating ?

Stuff happens unfortunately. Nothing is perfect. Could be a bad batch you got? <shrugs shoulders>

The problem with assessing paint protection performance over a period of time is that there are just too many variables in too many uncontrolled environments. Application, maintenance, vehicle exposure to elements, etc. all play a role.

While its obvious something is amiss, determining what that exactly is, is the greater challenge. Its easy to generalize and imply that the coating is "not as good as it claims" but I think that's a bit premature (and unfair) given that there doesn't appear to be any evidence (yet) to indicate that a large number of others have experienced the same.

True that! I agree with that statement since it does sit outside. I only wish I had paid more attention earlier. I would guess a car that does get washed quite frequently and outside could of played a roll in that. But a 5 year claim should of lasted a bit longer than a few months. I can almost bet this would of been noticed sooner and the same case if i had just not been in such a hurry when I wash it to pick up my clients.

I put 22PLE HPC on my car in May and it took a major hit after one Upstate NY winter. Even after a 3ph wash with Carpro and then Labocosmetica products the water beading and sheeting was nowhere near the same. It acted like a coating on the last quarter to third of it's life or one in need of a topper to restore it's water behavior.

Did all of the above Opie. Except not very high ph soaps on hand so I used Mr.Bubble. Still same I didn't want to do hood since I hit it with reset right before my wife needed the car. So I went ahead and hit the whole car with reset just know along with Brake buster 1-1 since my wheels and tires are never that dirty. Then Adams wheel (my favorite) Also to note that 15 dollar electric foam cannon works killer once I removed the little sponge.List your coating that failed!-1-jpg

I feel bumps about an inch apart through the whole car. Instead of the sand paper feel.
