    I’d imagine $2k.

Nice work, it looks great. Always wondered where you’re at (about 2 hours from me).

Re: HIT ME WITH IT.. What would you charge?

I remember when you first joined AGO Eric, and you were just getting started. You asked all the right questions and experimented with a bunch of scenarios.

In the past couple of years, you have churned out some incredible work. And I (and I am sure other AGO members) are very impressed with it.

If you feel that your work warrants the 2K, then do not settle for less. IMO, taking that hammered Black truck back to respectability is worth 2K all damn day.

Re: HIT ME WITH IT.. What would you charge?

I really appreciate the kind words Paul.

I just jumped into this full time last week after six years of side hustle.

You’ve always put wind in my sails with your feedback. Blessings.

And thanks everyone for your responses!

I charged 1,480 on that job.

I’d wish you luck, Eric. But you don’t need it. Lol
    You’ll succeed on your own.

Re: HIT ME WITH IT.. What would you charge?

That truck was hammered. In terms of costing.....all depends on what the level of correction the customer is looking for. A 2-Step can be a full perfect paint correction or a 75%-95% correction. Depends on how you as a detailer market it. Also depends on the coating used. I see where you opted for UK. I offer 4 levels of coatings. I do my pricing based on that type of structure and I sell or promote according to what the customer is looking for and using the vehicle for in their life. If it's a daily driver and pure black, a full perfect paint correction (I call that a Signature Perfection Package) That's upwards of $1,500 and additional for the ceramic $300-600 depending. I really don't use UK anymore, I tend to move right to SiC in the Cquartz line up. Overall I tend to use GYEON now.

To answer, here I'd probably market my 2-step (75%+) - Not perfection but close, given it's a suburban daily driver (assuming that) and I'd put a 2-3 year coating over it. $900+ ($395-450). Wheels, glass and trim extra at about $100 per depending. For me it would be a 1 day job and I'd be happy with it even if it were my truck. YMMV and that of the customer too. If the customer wanted a bit more, I would charge accordingly per hour which for me is in the $75-100/hr range for add-ons. My goal however is to average $125 per hour all-in which I've been getting pretty easily if not a lot more as I have a process that I've dialed in pretty good.

Nice opportunity for a side hustle for sure. I do a lot more New Car Protection Packages than these jobs as they are easier, I make far more per hour and I have a lot of $$ friends who buy new toys a lot
