Gyeon Rim apply in cold weather

I just purchased a new set of painted and clear coated 4Play wheels. Being in Indiana I also picked up some Gyeon Rim to put on them to protect against road salt. However I didn't realize that the minimum recommended temperature to apply it is around 59F and it's going to be colder than that until spring. Also didn't expect it to smell so strong, the wife would probably have a fit if I did it indoors. This weekend the temperature is supposed to be close to 50F, do you think I can get by at this temp?

I'm not familiar with Rim, but if it requires any type of flash time, the flashing will be much slower in the cold. If it doesn't require any flash time and is a wipe on/wipe off type product, I'd still be cautious while doing the first wheel. Watch to make sure you are smearing the product while removing. If so, let it sit before removing.

I'd do a small area of the wheel barrel to get a feel for how the application will go in your weather conditions before doing the whole thing and getting into potential problems.

I'd just apply the coating indoors in a room where you can close the door and put a fan in a window to suck out any fumes.

Went ahead and did it indoors. The smell wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. End up putting 2 coats on at about 24 hrs apart. I was expecting the coating to flash but after applying to the entire wheel and waiting a few more minutes the product never flashed. The instructions said to remove immediately so I removed before any flashing occured.
