It's a shame, but I think this product is discontinued. I really wish more than one manufacturer made a similar product. It was the best OTC product I ever used

I think they had Area 51 on lockdown during Covid, which is probably when they stopped making it. Wait, Area 51 is always on lockdown, never mind.

C'mon Eldo, how many coatings are supposed to be "self-cleaning"? Do they have microscopic nano-bots with a little bottle of waterless wash and a tiny, tiny microfiber towel? No, they make it so dirt doesn't want to stick to the surface, so it "self-cleans"...like your wheels with that Armor All stuff. I mean, how do they get the eggs to slide out of that pan on the Gotham commercial? It's a "non-stick" pan, not an egg-repellant pan.
Funny thing is their Extreme Shield Wax that I like boasts the same dirt repelling technology and that sealant is sort of tacky not slick, yet it really does repel dirt and keep your paint cleaner.

I once missed a big section on the roof of a yellow van and had it parked for a few days while the customer took his time picking it up and the big section that I missed was caked in dust while the rest of the roof was still clean. Lol.

Many years ago I went to Meguiars open garage and wound up pulling my car in for the 1st time. Of course everyone shows up clean and my car was no exception. I remember everyone literally touching my hood and they asked me what I had on it? I couldn’t say what I really had on there so I just said “Ultimate Wax”
I immediately heard 1 dude tell another guy “but why is it so tacky”? They were both like “this is so weird”! Lol.

I don't know what to tell you, Eldo, I guess it's alien technology that repels the dust and it's tacky in the process. It says it only lasts for 4 weeks, then I guess normal gravity returns.

    Re: Brake dust repellent

It sounds like a product that is great to apply especially before something like a long road trip. Less time cleaning wheels is always a plus.

Autoglym have a similar product to that Armor All stuff, an aerosol spray application. Was easy to apply though but I didn't really notice much, if any, benefit from using it. I threw it in the bin many years ago.

The Armor All stuff actually seemed to make a difference. That’s why I bought it again. It’s among the best OTC products I’ve used.

Isn't it just a wheel coating, long before coatings were actually called that? Based on your comments, it must have worked much better than putting a paint coating or a wheel coating on your wheels.
