Washed 3X in the last week

Does this count as a problem.

Within the span of less than a week, I've washed one car 3X
1st was because I needed to bring the car into to get it's 1st scheduled oil change.
I tend to always make sure the car is nice when I bring it in so the technician working on it is hopefully super careful.

Then 2 days later, while parked grocery runs, it got hit with some bird runs...
    So it got another wash...

We drove through some rain *it's amazing how much sand, dirt and whatnot* you get from just driving in the rain...
Anywhow, it got it's 3rd wash within the span of the last 5 days.

    I don't have any historical data....as I don't keep a tab, but I glanced.
Our quarterly water:sewer bill - when broken down is about $250 a month
I should #### and see if that is good or bad...

Last time I looked at our electric, we were quite higher than alot of other areas.

No problem at all and actually sounds like something I would do, too!

Just make sure your wash and dry techniques are dialed in to prevent as much marring as possible.

I wouldn't expect less from a detailing enthusiast

In terms of technique, people know I use the foam gun extreme wash method. My thirteen year old driver has yet to need polishing. I love being marring free
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.

I though I was obsessive with once a week. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Full wrap PPF - so marring/micro/ultra micro marring self heals.
I generally run the blower but if it's too early......in the morning, I will towel dry.
I'm super duper careful using a fresh mitt 1st on the piano black stuff (larger pieces are wrapped) but sideview mirrors, A-D window trim, is the only aspect of this car in which I try to be as careful as possible.

For those that spend time on a forum to YAK about detailing....
I've yet to find the complete touchless wash routine ....
Drying, I'm already there with the blower and just blot dry the drips that may come

But I do have aspirations one day, there will be something that is completely touchless that is enthusiast - consumer market level

High Pressure Rinse, Spray Product, Dwell, High Pressure Rinse - and the car would be clean including the -bio film one may get if driven in oily rain driven water.
    Everything I've tried doesn't remove the bio-film.
I suppose it does exist on the market already but its pretty caustic stuff

Last time I looked at this, there was mobile guys doing this for the freight trucks and such, but their chems was just as harsh. Something akin to a high PH, followed by X product during the rinse off to neutralize it, etc, etc.

Incorporate a rinseless wash into your routine and you should see that water bill go south!

    Just not my thing

I do waterless on the jambs, doors, trunk, etc...

Since the cars are full wrap, if it's lightly dusty, I don't have hesitation doing WW on the panels as well

But in general, I'm a DINO and I like water and lots of it during washing...
