Megs Hyperdressing at 2:1. I spray it with a HVLP paint gun as it uses minimal product and is super easy to wipe and even out where necessary.

For some reason, I prefer Hyper Dressing, probably because of the ability to dilute to taste. Motorplast is used neat, which I find a touch too glossy.

Hyper Dressing Dilution ratios for those who are playing along -

    High Gloss - 1:1
    Medium Gloss - 2:1
    Satin Finish - 3:1
    Natural Finish - 4:1
    Beautiful job!

Never used it but it sounds like a solid product.

MOTORPLAST is a naturally shiny, water-displacing conserver for engines, housing parts, rubber hoses and power units of cars, commercial vehicles, etc., with a pleasant fragrance. Treated parts regain their new appearance. The complete drying (no lubricating film) prevents dirt sticking. The power units are protected from corrosion and environmental factors by the permanently elastic protective film. MOTORPLAST is suitable for use on dry and wet surfaces. Temperature-resistant to 250°C. With Daimler (Mercedes) approval.

    Areas Of Use

Engines, housing parts, rubber hoses and power units of cars, commercial vehicles, etc.

    Warnings

Before using, check suitability and compatibility. Do not use on surfaces where slipperiness is undesirable.

    Notice

This product information can advise you only without obligation. Liability on the part of Koch-Chemie cannot be derived.

Re: Engine bay rubber and plastic

A couple of months ago me and a mechanic friend of one of my neighbors traded a favor for a favor.
I needed someone who knew what they were doing to clean my throttle body, and he needed help removing some road paint off his cars rocker panels.

When he had a look under my hood he said “holy sh!t my engines never been clean like that”!
I just started laughing, I hadn’t even touched it in almost 2 months. You should see it when it’s actually clean.Engine bay rubber and plastic
