Re: Do you still use a sealant?
Most Spray Sio2 toppers/products are just sealants with 1-10% sio2 tossed in them. React and work just like a spray and wipe sealant.

Re: Do you still use a sealant?
Yep. Some vehicles get an annual AIO (3D Speed or Blackfire AIO) and those get nothing more than an easy-to-use spray sealant every few washes. Reason being I'm working in less than ideal polishing conditions (usually outdoors, sometime a garage with less than perfect lighting) so the paint isn't perfect and I don't feel it's worth the extra effort for a coating. I've never had trouble cleaning these vehicles up, even after a hard Midwest winter.
Additionally I'll sometimes do a quick buzz over the horizonal surfaces mid-year to get rid of any road film or water spots and bring them back to life; Mike Phillips has recommended this in the past.

I still do!
I'm looking to add McKees hi def sealant, and the Polish Angel Master Sealant this year.

Re: Do you still use a sealant?
I'll do use them to finish up my stockpile. They are easier to apply and less prep/more forgiving than a ceramic coating.
Some of the sealants tend to fill in and hide some scratches/swirls too.

Re: Do you still use a sealant?
Just to add every time I want to recoat my vehicle and polish out scratches there is rain in the forecast. Something you don't have to worry about what feelings or spray on coating lite/sealant that may not have the long cure time.

This PA Master Seal is about the only one I haven't bought that still catches my eye with every 15% sale... so basically each weekend.

Re: Do you still use a sealant?
I still stick with my Wolfgang DGPS. The WG Exterior trim sealant for all exterior trim and tires. And WG Interior trim sealant for all my interior dash and vinyl.
This is the lineup I’ve felt confident in for years now and haven’t a reason to really change.

Re: Do you still use a sealant?
I'll confess to being uninformed, though I am learning things here all the time. Is the Griot's 3 In 1 Ceramic considered a sealant then? Since it replaced their Poly Wax I am guessing so, in which case I am still using a sealant ..

Re: Do you still use a sealant?
Yup…. still have a pretty substantial amount of blackfire crystal seal left, along with a full bottle of Ultima paint guard plus… Love those two products.
