I considered doing this too, but figured at that point, you may as well go for something more durable, alone with defeating the purpose of Can Coat's ease of application.

Gyeon says same thing of defeating purpose of ease of use by using an applicator instead of a microfiber towel in many videos but we still do… figure the extra 30 seconds is worth it.

IMHO .....A rectangler microfiber applicator makes for a faster, more precise application.

Same here. I first tried with an applicator just like a glass bottle coating but was frustrated because it didn’t take 20 minutes like in the YT video from the Gyeon rep. I switched to using the MF towel and it was a much more pleasant and quicker application.

I applied Can Coat using a small mf applicator the last time I used it. I am going to try the larger rectangular ones next time. Both methods work but I feel like I have more control to get an even coverage using a large rectangular mf applicator pad.

I get it now… Sounds like the perfect excuse for them to say “hey look at the bright side, it only took you 20min. to apply”
-When you call and ask why it only lasted 3 months. Lol.

Crazy you only got 3 months. I didn’t get quite 12+ but I’d say it was strong for 10….

I’d be willing to bet that Los Angeles, specifically this part where the port is located probably has the worst air pollution/fallout in all of the United States.
This map shows all of Wilmington and parts of Long Beach, Carson, Torrance & San Pedro. [Wilmington & San Pedro are both city of LA]
Take a look at how many oil refineries surround this relatively small area.
And then you include the business sea port in the country at the southern tip, less than a mile away.
