    Re: Pressure Washer Opinions wanted

Thanks all for the input on this one.

After much hand wringing, chart and review reviewing, ironically I’ve decided to just go with another entry level Ryobi. Right now you can pick up an 1800psi/1.2 gpm unit (that with alternate tips actually puts out quite well) for $100. Considering I made it so far with my other one, I’m just gonna get another one and put the extra dough towards gun and quick connect upgrades.

Chilly - thanks for your thoughts on the Greenworks - I’ve had good luck with their stuff, and the one you mentioned was a strong contender, but after watching some reviews after your comment the delayed start made it a solid Nope for me.

I have the same one as well and love it. It is my dedicated home unit. I Also found that a 2.5 orifice 40 degree works best at 900 psi 1.7 gpm.

From what I have learned, the length of the gun and wand must meet a fixed length to comply with regulations. I think there is a volume cap on this, so Active can sell a certain amount of accessory free units per year before having to switch over to packaged accessories.

But I hear you. Having bought a couple of high-end pressure washers and upgraded them straight away with quality aftermarket accessories, it's a waste of money and waste of resources to sideline the OEM parts when it would make sense to order a basic machine only kit.

I got it for $200. It’s was $250 but box damaged in shipping so they gave me $50 off to keep it. Looks like $300 now.

Been a champ. Could use more GPM but PSI was good to do deck and driveway.

I didn’t see anywhere say it has it but does it have TSS?

Yes it does. As mush as I love the Kranzle I can't justify it on my car flow. I like my Active for portability and plenty of machine for the jobs I do. Like my early post. I use my Ryobi as a dedicated plumed home unit. The Active is what I take on mobile jobs. Love that little Daddy.

I still haven't set up my Active pressure washer station and I have to say these Ryobi's RULES! It never misses a beat! I think I'm running it with a 3 or 3.5 @ 1100 and plenty of water at40 degree. I use the 25 If I have some harder crud!

I have that unit, too. It works perfectly. I wish it was a bit heavier, though.
